A deep mist covered the forest as if trying to hide something from me. I looked around panickily, eyes searching for a clue of my whereabouts. I haven’t even spent 10 minutes here, yet already getting a feeling of familiarity.
“What is it that you are trying to hide”, I muttered. Its getting familiar with every step. Fear is crouching its way to spread the numbness throughout my body just like what lukewarm water does to the frog. Its alarming, yet I want to step in. “Speak up” , my brain commanded.
“I am not here to look for the traces of past”, I clarified loudly. My gut tells me. I am being watched. “Just passing by”.
A strong breeze shivered every pore of my body, and in the blink of the eye, I could see through.
